#R1# Robinson tries for a takedown but Makarov circles away easily and Makarov counters with a right hand to the body. Robinson throws a big shot that misses. It looked like Makarov was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Robinson looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Makarov is fending him off so far but Robinson persists. Nope, Makarov circles away and we're back to standing. Makarov is looking for a counter combo.#KD# A jab-cross combination lands for Makarov and sends Robinson crashing to the mat! Makarov follows him down to the mat - Robinson regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet! #ROC#Robinson is rocked!#CUT#It looks like DeMac Robinson has been cut. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!#SU# Makarov decides to stand up. Robinson misses with a takedown and Makarov counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Robinson thinking. Zakhar Makarov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of DeMac Robinson. Makarov throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Robinson's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Makarov dives in looking to finish as Robinson flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Makarov's strikes! Makarov is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Robinson's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Robinson was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.

#R1##TD2# Robinson shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Konrad manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Robinson content to stall in guard here. Robinson stops Konrad from standing up. Robinson engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Konrad is pulling down on Robinson's head. It's preventing any offense from Robinson, at least for the moment. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Konrad can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Robinson controls the pace.#T1# Robinson looking to sit in guard and control but Konrad gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. #REVR##SU# Konrad decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Robinson, up you get! Konrad looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Robinson is fending him off so far but Konrad persists. Nope, Robinson circles away and we're back to standing. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Robinson! But no joy. Robinson tries to score a power double leg takedown but Konrad sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Robinson somewhat. Konrad tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. #TD2# Konrad gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Robinson to score an easy takedown into full guard. Konrad has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Robinson off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. #T2# We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Robinson has eaten all the pies! Konrad fakes the leg kick and cracks Robinson in the body. This has been an exciting period of action! Konrad buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Konrad shoots in for a double leg but Robinson sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Robinson shoots in but doesn't get the takedown #TD# and Konrad counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Konrad. Robinson keeping full guard, as Konrad tries to pass. Robinson looks winded! Konrad is stalling in the full guard. Konrad trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. #T3# Konrad trying to control but Robinson is working from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Konrad advances to half guard. Robinson is staying active underneath Konrad, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Konrad frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. #SU# Konrad stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing. Robinson tries to clinch but Konrad is having none of it. Konrad throws a big counter combination but Robinson scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.#T4# Robinson lands a jab to Konrad's midsection.#CL# Konrad has closed the distance and engaged Robinson in a clinch.
Robinson jumps guard but Konrad stands there with Robinson around his waist. Robinson gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

#T2# Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Konrad landing punches. Konrad trying to control but Robinson is having none of it. Robinson is looking to improve his position but Konrad isn't that keen on the idea. Konrad lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Robinson hang on? Konrad controlling from mount. Konrad can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Robinson is looking to escape. Konrad cracks Robinson with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

And that's the end of the fight! Peter Konrad showed his dominance in that final round. Well Konrad has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
