#R1# Johnston tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Balboa was well out of range. Poor timing from Johnston. A shot to the body from Balboa misses and Johnston counters with a straight right hand. Balboa fails in his attempt to clinch. Balboa looks to land a body kick but Johnston moved away. It looked like Johnston was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Balboa jabs Johnston to the body, keeping him at a distance. Johnston lands with an uppercut that bounces Balboa off the cage and back into range. We've been told by Johnston's head coaches at JAG Battle Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Uestus Johnston seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Johnston sizes up Balboa with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. No joy there for Johnston, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

This has been an exciting period of action! Balboa fails to land the takedown. Johnston throws a series of punches but Balboa avoids them all with ease. Johnston swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Johnston stuns Balboa with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Balboa walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Balboa takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. And that is the end of the round. letting Johnston counter with a right hand. Balboa is looking to clinch. It looked like Johnston was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Johnston slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Johnston lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Balboa fails with the takedown and Johnston counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Uestus Johnston has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. #R1# Balboa shoots in for a takedown but Heath shows good takedown defense. Balboa shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Heath defends it nicely. Heath fails with an attempt to clinch.
Balboa shoots in looking for a takedown. Heath tries to sprawl out of it but Balboa keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Heath manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Wrex Heath has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rocky Balboa. Balboa throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Heath's waist but Heath gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Balboa off to one side. Heath tries to counter by clinching up but Balboa breaks away and moves out of range.#CL# Heath forces Balboa back against the cage and clinches. Balboa is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Heath to keep the fight standing. Heath scores with a knee to the head.

Moore is trying to drag Balboa to the mat but Balboa just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.#BC2# Moore breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Balboa fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Moore looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Balboa shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Balboa shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Moore as he jumps to the side. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Balboa dives in and grabs Moore's left leg, looking for a takedown. Moore pushes down on Balboa's head and hops out. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rocky Balboa. That's going to take a lot out of him. Moore wants to clinch up but Balboa keeps it at a distance. Balboa throws a big counter combination but Moore scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.#TD2# Moore closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Balboa is trying to improve his position. Moore creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Balboa sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.#SUB2# Moore is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Balboa knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
