Quicky shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Stat pinned against the cage. Stat gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Quicky shoots for a double leg takedown but Stat sprawls well. He's pushed Quicky's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Stat wants to counter the offense by Quicky and move into the clinch position.
Crunch! Stat slams his shin into Quicky's torso.
Quicky takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Quicky goes for a double leg but Stat avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Stat continues to drive forward.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Trike Quicky. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Stat will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Quicky up against the cage.
