A decent looking cross lands there for Sandu.#CL2#
Sandu drives through and clinches with Neer against the cage. #BC2#
Sandu escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Neer fails with an attempt to clinch.
No luck for Neer with that takedown attempt.
Neer has his takedown stuffed
and Sandu makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.#TD#
Neer shoots in and bounces Sandu off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Neer is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Neer looking to pass the guard. #T1#
Sandu wants to stand and escape but Neer is having none of it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Neer is stalling in the full guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Neer looks for a takedown but Sandu sprawls well.

Neer dives in and grabs Sandu's left leg, looking for a takedown. Sandu pushes down on Neer's head and hops out.
Sandu lands a jab to the nose.
Sandu slaps away a takedown attempt from Neer, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Sandu scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Neer doesn't seem bothered though.
Neer is breathing heavily.
Sandu scores with a decent looking hook.
Sandu digs a good body shot into Neer's ribs.
Sandu bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Sandu feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Neers jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!#ROC2#Neer is rocked!
Neer leaves his chin hanging out and Sandu seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Neer crumbles to the floor in a heap! The referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Vilhelm Sandu!
After the big win, Vilhelm Sandu made sure to do all the important stuff like thanking his sponsors Undead Nutrition and telling the interviewer how much he loves him.

Jesse tries to sprawl but Neer drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Jesse makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Jesse.
Neer trying to control but Jesse is working from the bottom.
Jesse tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Neer advances position into side control!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Neer wants to lay and pray for a moment but Jesse keeps working.

Jesse is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
Jesse is trying to get back to half guard.
Neer working away.
Jesse gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Jesse wants to improve his position but Neer is controlling well. #T2#
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Neer is looking to take a break and control but Jesse is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Jesse is trying to control but can't.

The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Neer is just content to waste time from the top position. Jesse takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. #SUB#
Jesse has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Neer can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. #T3#

Neer isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Jesse stacks Neer on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Jesse!

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Jesse takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Jones closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Neer's guard.
Neer wants to get back to his feet but Jones passes into half guard. #REVR##SUB2#
Jones is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Neer doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Jones.
Jones wants to pass to mount but Neer is defending the position.
Jones wants to lay and pray for a moment but Neer keeps working.
Jones takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.#T1#
Neer is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Jones might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Neer haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
