Kogir fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Tsubekov manages to avoid it. Kogir definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Tsubekov shoots in for a double leg but Kogir sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Ganny Kogir has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rustam Tsubekov. Tsubekov shoots in for a takedown but Kogir shows good takedown defense. #TD2# Excellent takedown into side control there by Tsubekov. #SUB2# Tsubekov has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Kogir is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Tsubekov yanks on the arm and Kogir is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! That's better than Tsubekov was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!#SUB2# Tsubekov tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Tsubekov has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Tan has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage. Tan tries to bench press Tsubekov off him but Tsubekov keeps the position. Tan looks to move to half guard but instead Tsubekov has passed into mount! Oliva lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Tsubekov backwards. Oliva fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
#TD# Tsubekov is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Oliva can't fight it off and eventually Tsubekov manages to take the fight to the floor. Oliva looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Tsubekov forces his way into half guard. Tsubekov trying to pass the guard but Oliva defending well. Tsubekov wants to lay and pray for a moment but Oliva keeps working. Oliva really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Tsubekov. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Oliva has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control.
