#R1# A shot to the liver by Demetrio. Beautiful body shot. Demetrio looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Neer on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Neer fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Demetrio! But no joy. Neer takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Demetrio stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Demetrio wants it to stay on the feet. Demetrio moves out of range of the body kick. Neer looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.#TD# Neer shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Demetrio's guard. Neer throws a strike but Demetrio rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. #REVB##SUB# Demetrio is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Neer has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Demetrio is looking to defend but Neer has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Demetrio! Neer pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Demetrio taps out and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Scotty Neer! Scotty Neer spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant. |

#R1# Demetrio listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Demetrio scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Zabcdef doesn't succeed with the takedown enabling Demetrio to counter with a crisp jab. #CUT#It looks like Test Zabcdef has been cut. Demetrio lands with a good body shot. Demetrio bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Horrible takedown attempt by Zabcdef or perhaps it was just good defense by Demetrio, which made it look bad. Demetrio stuffs the takedown. Jonas Demetrio has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Test Zabcdef. Zabcdef shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. No luck for Zabcdef with that takedown attempt. Demetrio swings away with a body shot that misses
and Zabcdef counters with a one-two to the body. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Zabcdef slips under a jab. Zabcdef throws a sloppy head kick and Demetrio moves out of range easily. Zabcdef swings for the body but Demetrio moves out of range.
Demetrio has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Dead Disney World in the buildup to the fight. Jonas Demetrio seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Demetrio misses the shot to the body. #T1# Demetrio punishes Zabcdef's body with a nice straight punch.#CL# Demetrio darts in and clinches Zabcdef up against the cage.#BC# Demetrio pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Zabcdef misses the shot to the body. Demetrio looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Zabcdef throws a low kick, looking for Demetrio's leg but Demetrio calmly moves out of range. Jonas Demetrio is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. A lazy left from Demetrio finds it's target. Zabcdef shoots and misses and Demetrio counters with a lovely shot to the body. Zabcdef looks winded! Zabcdef takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Zabcdef avoids the body shot from Demetrio.
Demetrio scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Demetrio lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Zabcdef on the wrong end of a nice hook.#ROC#Zabcdef is rocked!#CUT#That has opened up Test Zabcdef's cut even more. Demetrio cracks Zabcdef on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Zabcdef falls backwards against the cage. Demetrio follows up with more strikes that drop Zabcdef to his knees. Demetrio keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Zabcdef! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jonas Demetrio! After the fight, Jonas Demetrio was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly. |

#R1# Demetrio ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Nightmare moves away.#TD2# A momentary lapse in concentration from Demetrio enables Nightmare to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Demetrio manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Nightmare is standing up over Demetrio. Demetrio looks to escape but Nightmare dives into side control.
#REVR# Nightmare throws a strike aimed at the side of Demetrio's head but Demetrio avoids it well. Nightmare works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Demetrio wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Nightmare working the head with strikes. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nightmare controls the position. Demetrio takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Nightmare content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. #T1# Nightmare working the ground and pound from side control. Demetrio is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Demetrio being controlled for a moment. Nightmare moves into full mount! #T2# A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Demetrio takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Nightmare cracks Demetrio with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Nightmare raining down hammerfists from mount. Nightmare landing strikes from the mount and Demetrio is in trouble! Nightmare looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Demetrio covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!

#R1# Vahkitov closes the distance and clinches up with Demetrio, looking for a takedown. Vahkitov pushes Demetrio against the cage but Demetrio circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Vahkitov dodges the punch combination from Demetrio.
Demetrio lands with a nice body punch. Vahkitov ducks right into an uppercut from Demetrio. Demetrio lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Demetrio just misses with a punch to the body.
#CL# Vahkitov gets in close and instigates a clinch. Demetrio wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Demetrio bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Vahkitov shoots in but no luck this time. Demetrio lands a glancing blow to the side of Vahkitov's head. Vahkitov fails in his attempt to clinch. Demetrio lands with a nice combination. Vahkitov backs away looking to recover.#T1# Demetrio darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Demetrio connects with a right hand. Vahkitov shakes it off. A low kick from Vahkitov misses and Demetrio counters with a lovely straight right hand! Demetrio scores with a sloppy right hand. Vahkitov should have avoided that one. Vahkitov takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Demetrio takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. A cross from Demetrio lands. Demetrio is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Vahkitov had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush. Demetrio takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Demetrio dips to his left and cracks Vahkitov with an uppercut! Demetrio lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Vahkitov at a distance.

#T2# Vahkitov with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Demetrio to score with a decent uppercut. Vahkitov tried to score with a low kick but Demetrio checks it. A little jabbing left from Demetrio on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.#TD# Demetrio gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Vahkitov to score an easy takedown into full guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Demetrio can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Vahkitov controls the pace. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Vahkitov prevents Demetrio from getting back to his feet. #T3# Vahkitov is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.#SU# Vahkitov decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Demetrio connects with a body shot. Vahkitov tries to clinch up and Demetrio counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. #T4# Demetrio uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Demetrio swinging wildly here.

That's going to take a lot out of him. Vahkitov takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Nice jab there from Demetrio. Vahkitov tries for a takedown but Demetrio circles away easily and Demetrio counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. This has been an exciting period of action! Vahkitov content just to control the position here. Poor strikes thrown by Vahkitov there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
#T3# Vahkitov is landing with some decent strikes but Demetrio is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Demetrio is trying to stand but he's not in a good position to be doing that! Vahkitov has taken his back! I would not like to be Demetrio right now.
Demetrio is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet. #SUB# Vahkitov has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Demetrio has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
What can Demetrio do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
#T4# Vahkitov seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Demetrio for as long as he can get away with. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Aleksander Vahkitov will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!#R3# Demetrio scores with a crisp jab that stopped Vahkitov in his tracks. Demetrio misses with a wild body shot. Demetrio moves into range and connects with a jab. A punch lands to the side of Vahkitov 's head but he takes it in his stride.
