Nice takedown defense from Lubov. No joy for Turnbull on that attempt.
Turnbull takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Lubov getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Turnbull tries for a takedown but Lubov circles away easily
and Lubov cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Turnbull is defended easily by Lubov.
Alexander Lubov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ryan Turnbull.
Turnbull shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Lubov defends it nicely.
Turnbull's coach down at Walter J Abramowitz Center for Bigness was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Turnbull's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Lubov finds Turnbull's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Turnbull flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Lubov lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Turnbull will be OK.

Nice shot lands for Lubov.
Horrible takedown attempt by Murphy or perhaps it was just good defense by Lubov, which made it look bad.
We've been hearing reports that Murphy has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Holmes gets caught napping as Lubov dives in and scores a takedown. Holmes manages to retain guard.#SUB#
Lubov is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Holmes has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Lubov is looking to defend but Holmes has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Lubov! Holmes pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Lubov taps out and this one is all over!
