#R1# Hurts tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Turner defends well and Hurts ends up having to push Turner into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Turner went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Hurts closes the distance and clinches up with Turner, looking for a takedown. Hurts pushes Turner against the cage but Turner circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Turner throws a big counter combination but Hurts scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.#CL# Hurts tries to keep at a distance but Turner has taken the fight into the clinch. Hurts tries to score a body lock takedown but Turner shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Sterling Turner has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Landon Hurts.#TD# Turner tightens his grip and picks Hurts up, before dumping him to the ground. Hurts manages to land in guard. Hurts has control of Turner's left arm, preventing Turner from doing any damage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Turner throwing strikes from guard but Hurts blocks nicely. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Turner accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. #T1# Hurts trying to keep a closed guard but Turner is proving a slippery customer.

It looked like Turner was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Hurts. Turner looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Hurts shoots in for a takedown but Turner shows good takedown defense. Hurts fails with an attempt to clinch.
Turner displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Hurts. Turner is looking for a counter combo. Turner lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

Turner half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Sterling Turner has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Landon Hurts. Hurts moves in looking to clinch but Turner pushes him off. Landon Hurts seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hurts tries to clinch but Turner is having none of it. It looked like Turner was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Turner throws a right and a left that both miss. Hurts's coach down at Cozad The Island was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Hurts's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Turner leaves Hurts with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Hurts tries to clinch up but Turner circles away and keeps his distance. It looked like Turner was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.#T3# Turner throws a series of punches but Hurts moves out of range. #TD# Turner shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Hurts's guard. Hurts is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Turner dives into side control.
#REVB# Hurts is trying to control Turner's posture but Turner avoids it. Turner throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Hurts tries to improve position but can't. #T4# Hurts wants to control but Turner postures up. Hurts tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Turner wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. #SU# Turner has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Turner attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Nice takedown defense from Turner. No joy for Hurts on that attempt. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. #T4# The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Turner misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

#R1# Hurts goes for a double leg but Ice avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Ice continues to drive forward.#BC2# Ice breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Hurts moves out of range of the body kick from Ice.
Hurts drops down looking for a counter takedown but Ice sprawls and moves away. Hurts has been working on his balance at Cozad The Island, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Ice. Ice scores with a push kick.#TD2# Ice feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Hurts keeping moving, preventing Ice from controlling successfully. Hurts is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Hurts pulls Ice in close to prevent any damage. Ice stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hurts swivels though and keeps the full guard. Hurts working a defensive guard here.

Hurts looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. #SUB# Ice is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Hurts has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Ice is looking to defend but Hurts has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Ice! Hurts pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Ice taps out and this one is all over!

#R1# Hurts slips under a jab from Tantor. Hurts dives in for a single leg takedown but Tantor sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Tantor scores with an uppercut up the middle. Tantor will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Hurts up against the cage. Hurts tries to pull guard but Tantor won't allow it.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Landon Hurts. That's going to take a lot out of him. Hurts has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Tantor is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Tantor leaning against his opponent.

#R1# Ruiha scores with a jab. Hurts acknowledges it with a nod of the head. A jab from Ruiha does it's job there. Hurts staying out of range there. Ruiha lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.#KD# Ruiha cracks Hurts with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Ruiha has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Hurts to stand back up!#ROC#Hurts is rocked! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Ruiha throws an uppercut from hell that sends Hurts clean off his feet! He's out cold! Ruiha stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.
