Lipin slaps away a takedown attempt from Rene, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Rene drops his hands momentarily and Lipin takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Rene looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Lipin with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Lipin keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
A little jabbing left from Lipin on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Autumn Rene. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Rene will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Rene fails with the takedown
and Lipin counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rene shoots for a takedown but Lipin saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Rene tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Lipin swivels and escapes.
Rene is breathing heavily.
Lipin jabs Rene right on the nose. Rene blinks but takes it well.#KD2#

Lipin measures up his opponent and throws a superman punch that connects to the jaw! Down goes Rene! The ref steps in, and that's the ball game folks!
