Vinazen drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
A big right from Vinazen misses.
A telegraphed right hand from Vinazen misses the target.
Murray changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Vinazen takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.#CUT#It looks like Paul Vinazen has been cut.
Murray connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Murray has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Vinazen throws a right and a left that Jones avoids nicely.
Vinazen takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Jones tries to clinch but Vinazen is having none of it.
Jones jabs at Vinazen's body.
Jones darts in and out, connecting with a jab. #CUT#It looks like Paul Vinazen has been cut.
Jones paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Jones cracks Vinazen with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Vinazen tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Jones pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Vinazen is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dan Jones!
In his post fight interview, Dan Jones started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.

Turn tries to close the distance and clinch up but Vinazen swats him away and circles back towards the center.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Turn seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

and Jackson counters with a left and a right that stings Vinazen.
Vinazen rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
enabling Jackson to counter with a crisp jab.
Some wild striking there from Vinazen.
Jackson was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Vinazen misses with a hook
and Jackson connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Left hook, right uppercut from Jackson.
Jackson stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Jackson definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Vinazen swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Power shoots for a double leg takedown but Vinazen sprawls well. He's pushed Power's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
