Lachmann has his hands on Barnett's head, controlling the position. Barnett wants to stand but Lachmann is controlling his posture from full guard. Barnett trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. #R1# Tsubekov changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Barnett tries to avoid it but Tsubekov manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Barnett to the ground. Barnett escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. A punch combination from Barnett misses. Tsubekov takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Tsubekov takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Tsubekov avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Barnett tries to bum rush Tsubekov with a series of wild strikes but Tsubekov uses good footwork to avoid the assault.#TD2# Tsubekov scores with a takedown into Barnett's guard. Barnett kicks Tsubekov off and gets to his feet. This has been an exciting period of action!#TD2# Tsubekov shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Barnett's guard. Barnett preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. That was a close second round but I would say that Buddy Barnett will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. #R1##CL# Yates closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. A frustrated look appears on Barnett's face as he tries to break the clinch. An uppercut to the body lands inside from Yates. Yates throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. Yates misses with a body punch.
Yates definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Barnett tries to circle away but Yates has him pinned against the cage. Barnett prevents a body shot from Yates. Yates softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. A shot in the inside from Yates. Yates goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Yates lands with a right to the head. Barnett wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Yates has him pressed against the cage. Yates tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Barnett's elbow. Yates lands a body punch. Yates gets through Barnett's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Barnett takes a shot to the head. Yates softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Barnett told us before the fight that he's been working on his elbows. An under utilised technique these days - let's see if it can sway the outcome of the fight. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Barnett can't find room to land a body shot as Yates controls the action.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Yates creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Barnett is still on wobbly legs! Can Yates finish him? #R1# Barnett thows a left - swing and a miss! Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Rockwell looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Barnett is fending him off so far but Rockwell persists. Nope, Barnett circles away and we're back to standing. Barnett throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Rockwell closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Rockwell shoots in but doesn't get the takedown enabling Barnett to counter with a crisp jab. Rockwell goes for a double leg but Barnett avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Barnett continues to drive forward. Buddy Barnett has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Eaton Rockwell. Rockwell ducks under a wild hook from Barnett. Barnett throws a hook to the side of Rockwell's head but Rockwell sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.#TD2# Rockwell scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Barnett avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Rockwell. Rockwell wants to lay and pray for a moment but Barnett keeps working. Rockwell throws a strike but Barnett avoids it easily and moves to full guard. Rockwell throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Barnett works some decent striking defense from the bottom. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Rockwell in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Rockwell keeps control of Barnett as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Barnett looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Barnett is trying to break the clinch but Rockwell has him pressed against the cage. Barnett is looking to break free of the clinch but Rockwell has double underhooks. #TD2# Rockwell gets a trip takedown into half guard. Rockwell with the ground and pound but Barnett uses the opportunity to regain guard. Rockwell must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Rockwell throws an elbow that misses. Barnett uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Rockwell's guard. #R1# Barnett jabs Huff right on the nose. Huff blinks but takes it well. A jab from Barnett misses. Huff steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Barnett. Barnett misses the jab. Buddy Barnett seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Barnett misses with a looping right. Huff throws a fast counter high kick but Barnett manages to duck under it in time. Nice body punch from Barnett. Barnett throws a hook but Huff blocks it.#CL2# Huff rushes Barnett and presses him up against the cage. Huff blocking some punches.
#BC2# Huff pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Left hook, right uppercut from Barnett. Barnett cracks Huff with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Barnett looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.#TD2# Huff throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Barnett was covering up waiting for the punch and Huff finishes the takedown easily into guard. Barnett wants to get back to his feet but Huff passes into half guard.

He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though. Huff tries to pass the half guard into mount. Barnett knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. #R1# Barnett looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Getaldic punishes Barnett's body with a nice straight punch. Barnett looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Getaldic misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Barnett.
Barnett drops down looking for a counter takedown but Getaldic sprawls and moves away. Barnett throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Barnett throws an overhand right that lands on Getaldic's shoulder, as Getaldic tries to avoid the shot. A nice side step and Getaldic releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. Barnett rushes in with a sloppy looking punch

#TD# and Cross counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Barnett preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Cross won't allow Barnett to get back to his feet. Cross is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Barnett is looking to stand up but Cross isn't so interested in that idea. Barnett avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cross is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
