Hankerson moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Hankerson shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Hankerson shoots in looking for a takedown. Krutainis tries to sprawl out of it but Hankerson keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Krutainis manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Krutainis lands with a thumping leg kick.

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Gatis Krutainis. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Krutainis, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Hankerson works over Salvacion with some ground and pound from guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Salvacion can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Hankerson controls the pace. Hankerson makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Hankerson controls the pace of the fight for a moment.#T1# Hankerson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Salvacion swivels though and keeps the full guard. Hankerson seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Salvacion for as long as he can get away with. Hankerson has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.#T3# Hankerson pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Hankerson controlling the pace for now. Tank Hankerson overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. This is a sustained period of stalling by Hankerson. A nice elbow there by Hankerson.#T4# Hankerson postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Salvacion looks a forlorn figure.
Hankerson lands a couple of good shots and Salvacion has given up his back, trying to escape the position! What can Salvacion do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Hankerson throwing strikes from the back - he gets a warning from the referee for striking the back of the head but all these shots are hurting Salvacion!
#SUB# Hankerson is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Salvacion has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Hankerson has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Salvacion taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Hankerson doesn't care though - he's delighted!
