In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Rage working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though. Bermalingo looking to hit a scissor sweep but Rage is one step ahead there. Rage works over Bermalingo with some ground and pound from guard. Bermalingo is trying to control the position from the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rage chips away with some ground and pound. Rage postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Rage with a flurry of punches that miss. Rage is stalling in the full guard. #T1# Rage trying to control but Bermalingo is working from the bottom. Rage takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Rage's corner calls for a 1-2. Rage obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Pacha misses with a looping right. Rage tests Pacha's chin there with a solid looking shot. Rage misses with a combination
and Pacha connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Pacha moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.#CL# Pacha gets in close and instigates a clinch. Pacha prevents a takedown attempt there.
Rage goes for a takedown attempt but Pacha pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Rage walks into a left hand. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Rage uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Pacha.#T1# Pacha lands a head kick. Rage smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Pacha has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Rage lands a nice hook to Pacha's body. Pacha takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Rage misses with a shot to the body and Pacha counters with a three punch combo that has Rage backing up. Rage nods at Pacha to acknowledge the strikes. Pacha takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Joestar is fighting to maintain full guard but Rage has managed to sneak the leg through. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rage wants to lay and pray for a moment but Joestar keeps working.
