Bich shoots in for a double leg but Veainu sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Veainu throws a jab when Bich was well out of range. Veainu moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.#CL# Veainu drives through and clinches with Bich against the cage.

Bich seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. Blank throws a nice looking combination but Bich bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.#CL# Bich moves into the clinch.#BC# Bich breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Blank displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Bich. Blank throws a wild combination but nothing lands. As Blank tries to get set, Bich tries to push him back and clinch up but Blank manages to avoid the attempt.#TD# Bich looking to shoot here. Our sources have told us that Vargas has been working on his knees in the buildup to the fight. Vargas is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Bich is defending well for now. Bich tries for a takedown but Vargas manages to get underhooks.
#TD2# Bich gets control of Vargas's arms and successfully pulls guard. Bich will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Bich is pulling down on Vargas's head to control his posture. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.#SUB2# Bich working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Vargas doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Vargas manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Bich manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Bich shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. De Oliveira eats them both and turns towards Bich to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Bich keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Bich feints a jab promting De Oliveira to slip. Bich then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. De Oliveira slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. De Oliveira shoots in looking for a takedown. Bich tries to sprawl out of it but De Oliveira keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Turn has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Turn is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Bich is defending well. Turn missing with knees to the body.
Turn wants to take the fight to the mat but Bich manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. With the two fighters working up against the cage, Turn just misses with a elbow thrown towards Bich's brow. Turn has Bich pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Veainu lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
