#R1# Freeman tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Amos manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.#TD# Freeman drives through with a takedown into Amos's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.#SUB2# Amos is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Freeman wants to control from the top but Amos keeps moving. Freeman passes Amos's left leg - he's now in half guard. Amos won't allow Freeman to pass to mount. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SUB# Freeman seems to be working for a kimura but Amos defends the submission attempt. Amos is looking to control Freeman's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Amos avoid being mounted?#T1# Amos misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Amos wants to control but Freeman is keeping busy and won't allow it. Freeman throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Amos really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Freeman. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Freeman is trying to control. Amos wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Amos is trying to get back to full guard. Freeman seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Amos does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. #T2# Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Amos blocking the ground and pound attempt from Freeman. Freeman not landing any meaningful shots this time. Amos keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Amos trying to keep hold of his opponent's head but Freeman manages to pass to mount!
Freeman prevents Amos from getting the reversal. Freeman has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Freeman unloads with some shots from mount but Amos bucks and avoids them well.
Freeman tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Amos reaches up to try and control the position but Freeman seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Amos rolls and tries to escape and now Freeman has his back!
#T3##SUB# Amos is trying to defend against the choke here but Freeman has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Freeman Tightens the hold and Amos taps out furiously! Freeman displays superior BJJ to win the fight.

#R1# Amos throws a right hand that Jackson ducks under and follows up with a left that Jackson also avoids with ease.#CL2# Jackson rushes Amos and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.#BC2# Jackson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. #TD2# Jackson feints and as Amos raises his hands in defense, Jackson changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Jackson won't allow Amos to sweep him here. Amos keeping moving, preventing Jackson from controlling successfully. Jackson slips nicely into half guard.#SUB2# Jackson is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Amos wants to improve his position but Jackson is controlling well.

Amos is trying to get back to full guard.#SUB2# Jackson is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Amos is just riding it out for now. Jackson eventually gives up the hold. Jackson is keen to just control but Amos is a slippery customer.#T2# Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Jackson uses his free foot to push down on Amos's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Amos. Jackson lands a big elbow. Jackson avoids the attempt from Amos to control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jackson has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Amos's face.
Amos is working to get back to half guard.

Nice. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Who's going to make the next move? You can see the frustration on Amos's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Amos tries to buck Jackson off but Jackson is having none of it. Jackson throws an elbow but Amos slips to the side and avoids it well.#SU2# Jackson decides to stand back up. #T4##TD# Amos gets the takedown into side control. Amos in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. #SUB# Amos is trying to get an arm triangle but Jackson is defending well. #SUB# Amos wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Jackson, who protects the arm well. Jackson prevents Amos from moving into mount. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Amos working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
This has been an exciting period of action! Jackson is trying to control Amos's posture but Amos avoids it. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Jackson lands a nice leg kick that just misses Amos's sensitive parts. Amos leaves Jackson with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Amos quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect. Amos tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Jackson paws at him with a jab and circles away.#TD# Amos closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Amos lands in his opponent's guard. Amos prevents Jackson from getting back to his feet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Amos is thwarting Jackson's attempts to control the position. Jackson moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Amos landing with the ground and pound. #T2# Amos passes Jackson's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Amos lands with a punch from half guard. Jackson trying to control from the bottom.

Jackson controlling the leg, holding on to half guard. #T3# Amos seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. #SUB2# Jackson has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Amos. Oh but Jackson has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Amos goes limp - he's gone! Jackson jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
