#R1# Briggs pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Kadirov back to the cage. Briggs follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. A jab lands there for Briggs. Briggs connects with a right hand. Kadirov shakes it off.#TD# Briggs looking to score a takedown here. Kadirov is defending well but Briggs drives through and ends up in Kadirov's guard. Kadirov wants to sweep here but Briggs controlling him for the moment. Briggs has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.#SUB2# Kadirov looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Briggs is defending well. Kadirov quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Briggs has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Kadirov celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.

#R1##TD2# Goddard feints and as Kadirov raises his hands in defense, Goddard changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.#SUB2# Goddard drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Kadirov manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Goddard has Kadirov in his guard.#REVR##SUB2# Goddard has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Kadirov can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Goddard holds on and takes a little breather. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SUB# Kadirov drops back, looking for a kneebar! Goddard looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Goddard looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Goddard! #REVB##SUB2# Goddard working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. #T1##SUB2# Goddard tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Goddard passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Kadirov! Kadirov tries to reverse the position but Goddard maintains control.#SUB2# Goddard working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Kadirov turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Goddard off and cradles Kadirov's limp body as Goddard celebrates with his corner.

#R1# Smith connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.#CUT2#It looks like Lahmat Kadirov has been cut. Kadirov bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Smith looks to throw the jab but Kadirov is out of range. Smith scores with a crisp jab that stopped Kadirov in his tracks. Kadirov is trying hard to land a takedown here. Smith sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Smith throws a shot from downtown. Kadirov moves away and avoids it. Smith lands a jab to the head.
Kadirov with a poor takedown and Smith makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Kadirov tries for a takedown but Smith circles away easily letting Smith counter with a right hand. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lahmat Kadirov. That's going to take a lot out of him. Nice sprawl there from Smith as Kadirov shoots in. Smith throws out a counter right but Kadirov avoids it with no problem. Kadirov tries a head kick but it misses.
Smith lands a jab to the head.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Smith connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. #ROC2#Kadirov is rocked!#T1# BOOM! Smith lands a beautiful left hook that drops Kadirov. Kadirov tries to recover but Smith is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Kadirov lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
