Oooooh!!! Rennid has knocked Dredd down with a huge combo! Rennid steps away and waves a wobbly Dredd back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!#CUT#It looks like Jin Dredd has been cut.
Rennid throws a nice looking combination but Dredd bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Rennid cracks a nice hook into Dredd's ribs.
Anigav Rennid seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dredd darts in looking for a takedown but Rennid gets double underhooks and turns Dredd into the cage.
Dredd takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Dredd fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Rennid avoids it really well and circles away.
Anigav Rennid has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jin Dredd.#KD#
Rennid feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Dredd sprawling to the canvas! Dredd rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Rennid finish him?!

Rennid looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Rennid backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Dredd's temple! It sends Dredd violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Rennid celebrates and the doctors try to help Dredd!

Dredd shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Dredd slips under a jab from Cannons.
Cannons defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Dredd.
Dredd shoots in for a double leg but Cannons sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Johnny Cannons has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jin Dredd.
A looping hook to the body misses from Cannons. Dredd does a little dance to reset his feet.
Cannons getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Dredd takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Dredd takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Dredd keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Dredd fails with a takedown attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cannons closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Dredd! Cannons dives in looking to finish! Dredd is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!

A relieved looking Johnny Cannons thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it. |
