Shi shoots in for a takedown but Collins shows good takedown defense. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bakabaka Shi. That's going to take a lot out of him. Collins lands with a nice body punch. Collins displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Shi. Collins throws a right hand that Shi ducks under and follows up with a left that Shi also avoids with ease. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Shi is defended easily by Collins. Collins is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Shi takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. enabling Destroyer to counter with a crisp jab. Destroyer scores with a hook to the body. Shi takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Shi with a lazy takedown attempt and Destroyer counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Destroyer throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. Shi doesn't succeed with the takedown and Destroyer counters with a lovely shot to the body. Shi misses with a takedown attempt and as Shi loses concentration momentarily, Destroyer counters with a picture perfect head kick! Shi goes down, out cold! The referee rushed in to check on his condition - I'm sure he'll be ok but that was a massive knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Chicken Destroyer! After winning the bout, Chicken Destroyer thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility. |

#R1# Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Sang Sik! Shi is out on his feet! Sang Sik rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Shi is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Shi is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.

#R1# Shi ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Sang needs to keep his hands up - Shi had a free shot at his head there. Sang is looking to clinch. Shi swats away the attempt to clinch by Sang. Sang is looking to clinch. #CL2# Shi tries to keep at a distance but Sang has taken the fight into the clinch. Shi tries to pull guard but Sang holds him up against the cage and eventually Shi drops back down to his feet.

Shi definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Shi is trying to drag Sang to the mat but Sang just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Sang lands an elbow that stopped Shi in his tracks for a moment. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Shi is looking for a takedown. Pai is staying active underneath Shi, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Ground and pound from Shi. Pai works his way to full guard. Good work. Shi slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Pai definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. #R1# Slow goes for a double leg but Shi avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Shi continues to drive forward. Shi definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Shi cracks a nice hook into Slow's ribs.#TD2# Slow looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Shi has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Slow off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. Slow will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Slow shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Shi sprawls well. Shi wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Slow gets slowly back to his feet. Bakabaka Shi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of So Slow. Slow doesn't succeed with the takedown enabling Shi to counter with a crisp jab. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Shi is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Slow doesn't succeed with the takedown and Shi connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Shi scores with the left hand. Slow knows he should have avoided that one. #T1# Slow shoots in for a takedown but Shi shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Slow closes the distance and clinches up with Shi, looking for a takedown. Slow pushes Shi against the cage but Shi circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. The ref grabs Shi from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Slow's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.
