#R1# Hunt cracks a nice hook into Sloan's ribs. A shot to the liver by Hunt. Beautiful body shot. Hunt throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Hunt throws an overhand right that lands on Sloan's shoulder, as Sloan tries to avoid the shot. Hunt loads up on a big right hand but Sloan slips the punch. Hunt thows a left - swing and a miss! Sloan defending well as Hunt loads up on a big left hand. Hunt lands a nice looking body shot.
Sloan takes one to the chin there. Hunt misses with a right hand and Sloan counters with a left to the body. Sloan takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Sloan staying out of range there. Sloan is looking to counter punch. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Sloan misses with a body shot
enabling Hunt to counter with a crisp jab. Sloan slips under a jab. Sloan displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Hunt throws out the jab. Hunt has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Sloan closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. #ROC2#Sloan is rocked!#T1# Hunt lunges in with a left hook that violently twists Sloan head around and knocks him out cold! Hunt hops onto the cage and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.

and Sloan counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.#CUT#It looks like Shick Brithouse has been cut. Sloan's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Brithouse connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Sloan scrambles back to his feet. Brithouse throws a nice looking combination but Sloan bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Brithouse misses with a shot to the body and Sloan cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. No joy there for Brithouse, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Brithouse throws a series of punches but Sloan moves out of range. Sloan swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect. Sloan buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Sloan is looking to chop away at Brithouse's legs. Sloan looks to throw the jab but Brithouse is out of range. Brithouse misses with a takedown attempt and Sloan connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.#ROC#Brithouse is rocked! Sloan lands with a good body shot. Brithouse is still on wobbly legs! Can Sloan finish him? Brithouse looks winded! Sloan throws an overhand right that has Brithouse reeling! #R1# Crown blocks a jab. Crown displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Sloan throws out the jab. Crown keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Crown slips a jab from Sloan. Crown slips under a jab from Sloan. Nate Crown seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Crown shoots in and drives through. Sloan sprawls well. A nice side step and Sloan releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. Crown shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Sloan defends it nicely. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Crown doesn't manage to clinch there - Sloan circles away.
Sloan swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Crown ducks under a wild hook from Sloan. Crown throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Sloan stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Crown moves out of range as Sloan strikes.#T1# Crown throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Sloan's waist but Sloan gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Crown off to one side. Sloan looks like he wants to counter punch here. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nate Crown. That's going to take a lot out of him. Crown tries to clinch but Sloan is having none of it. Crown moves out of range as Sloan strikes. Crown drops down looking for a counter takedown but Sloan sprawls and moves away. Sloan has worked on his takedown defense in the runup to this fight and it is paying off so far. Crown throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Sloan. Crown throws a low kick but Sloan moves out of range easily. Crown fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Crown gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Sloan counters with a straight right hand. Crown wants to clinch up but Sloan keeps it at a distance. Crown checks a leg kick. Good standup being displayed there by Sloan as he connects with a hook. Crown tries to close the distance and clinch but Sloan swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. #T4# Crown slips under a jab. Crown tries to land a leg kick but Sloan saw it coming and moves away.
Crown has a takedown stuffed. Sloan throws a chopping leg kick but Crown manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Crown swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect. Crown misses with a straight left. Some bone on bone action there as Crown checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Sloan uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Crown. Crown on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Crown is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Crown tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Sloan defends well and Crown ends up having to push Sloan into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Nope, Sloan circles away and we're back to standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nate Crown. That's going to take a lot out of him. Crown shoots in for a takedown. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Crown lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick. Sloan swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Crown will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Crown being controlled here, momentarily. Sloan keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Crown's head. Sloan content to stall in guard here. #T4# Sloan trying to control but Crown is working from the bottom. Sloan working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Sloan postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. #SU2# Crown is working an open guard so Sloan takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Crown tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Sloan counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Sloan dips to his left and cracks Crown with an uppercut! Sloan lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off. Crown tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Sloan paws at him with a jab and circles away. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Sloan! But no joy. #R1# Sloan shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Zulu eats them both and turns towards Sloan to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.#CUT#It looks like Shaka Zulu has been cut. Zulu shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Sloan sprawls well. Sloan wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Zulu gets slowly back to his feet. Sloan stuffs the takedown. Sloan thows a body kick. Zulu tries to catch it but that hurt him. Sloan lands a slapping body shot.
Zulu looks winded! Sloan comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Zulu walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Sloan lands a big right hook! Zulu looks hurt but is still standing! Sloan lands a left jab and another right hook! This time Zulu falls down and Sloan dives in with a huge hammer fist! Zulu's eyes roll back! The referee calls for the bell and Sloan runs up the cage to celebrate with his fans!
