#R1# Tazmachev tries to bum rush Nigel with a series of wild strikes but Nigel uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Tazmachev throws a right hand that Nigel ducks under and follows up with a left that Nigel also avoids with ease. Kamar Tazmachev seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Nigel shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Tazmachev but Tazmachev pushes him off and we're back to square one. Tazmachev scores with a hook to the body. Nigel takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. #TD2# Nigel drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.#SUB2# Nigel has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Tazmachev is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Nigel yanks on the arm and Tazmachev is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Nigel.

#R1# No luck for Nigel with that takedown attempt. Nigel will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.#KD2# Oooooh!!! Faacker has knocked Nigel down with a huge combo! Faacker steps away and waves a wobbly Nigel back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!#CUT2#It looks like Bill Nigel has been cut. Nigel fails with the takedown#KD2# and Faacker counters with a crisp right hand that drops Nigel! Faacker lets Nigel back up to his feet, looking for a finish!#ROC2#Nigel is rocked! That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bill Nigel. That's going to take a lot out of him. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Faacker connects with a left and a right that sees a clearly hurt Nigel covering up! Faacker comes in with a big uppercut and Nigel goes doooown! He's slumped up against the cage, eyes staring blankly into space.

#R1# Nigel shoots in and drives through. McPunchist sprawls well. Nice jab there from McPunchist. #CUT2#It looks like Bill Nigel has been cut. McPunchist lands with a right hand. McPunchist throws a jab when Nigel was well out of range. Nigel feinted with a counter takedown. McPunchist cracks Nigel with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.#ROC2#Nigel is rocked! Nigel ducks under a wild hook from McPunchist. Oh Nigel is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! BAM! McPunchist delivers a spinning backfist that drops Nigel like a ragdoll! This is all oooooveeeer! He was out before he hit the ground!

Punchy McPunchist very nearly forgot to thank PWNAGE amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. #R1##TD# Nigel shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Nigel lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. #SUB# Nigel wants to work for an arm triangle but Ekwall is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Ekwall really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Nigel. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Ekwall is trying to maintain the position but Nigel is very close to passing his half guard. Nigel working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SUB# Nigel is looking for a kimura here.

#T1# Ekwall is looking for a sweep. Nigel is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Nigel frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ekwall is looking to get to half guard. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Ekwall can do anything to dispel that myth. Ekwall is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.

#T2# Ekwall is bucking up trying to escape but Nigel cracks him with another couple of good strikes.#SUB# Nigel looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. #SUB# Nigel working for a submission but Ekwall is keeping him at bay. Nigel controlling from the full mount. Ekwall is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position. Nigel lands a heavy elbow. #SUB# Nigel has hold of Ekwall's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Ekwall manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

#SUB# Nigel looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.#SUB# Nigel is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Ekwall is surviving well by controlling Nigel's body position as best he can. Nigel avoids the attempt from Ekwall to control.#SUB# Nigel has hold of Ekwall's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Ekwall manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
#T4##SUB# Ekwall has left one of his arms exposed and Nigel doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Ekwall screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
