Kickels ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kojuro moves away. Kojuro uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Kickels misses with a straight left. Kojuro throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body. Kickels scores with a one two! Kojuro had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Kojuro bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Kickels's head. Kickels moves out of range of the body kick. Kickels looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Kojuro throws a body punch but Kickels moves out of range. Kojuro bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Kojuro looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Kickels throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Nickle shoots for a double leg takedown but Kojuro sprawls well. He's pushed Nickle's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dill Nickle. That's going to take a lot out of him. Nickle takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Kojuro lands a really nice looking cross but Nickle seems unphased.

Alawi doesn't succeed with the takedown and Alawi takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Kon Kojuro has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now.
