Khan connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Khan has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Baron dives in and grabs Khan's left leg, looking for a takedown. Khan pushes down on Baron's head and hops out.
Khan circles away from the clinch attempt
and Khan counters with a stiff right hand.
Khan throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Baron darts in looking for a takedown but Khan gets double underhooks and turns Baron into the cage.
Khan is trying to maintain a safe position but Baron gets an underhook and turns Khan into the cage.
Khan tries to circle away but Baron has him pinned against the cage.
Baron wants a takedown but no success here.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Charles Baron. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Shakir Khan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Baron changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Khan tries to avoid it but Baron manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Khan to the ground. Khan escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Oh Baron is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Khan digs a good body shot into Baron's ribs.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Baron really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Baron on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Khan is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Baron rather than just go for the knockout.
Khan throws a monster overhand right that drops Baron! Khan follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!

Mourao drops back looking for a leg! Baron is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Baron manages to kick Mourao off! Mourao jumps back into Baron's guard.
Baron is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Mourao looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Baron with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. #SUB2#
