#R1# Simpson fails with an attempt to clinch.
Some bone on bone action there as Simpson checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Simpson is looking to take this fight into the clinch.#CL# Simpson takes the fight into the clinch. Pesce looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Pesce wants to get back to striking at distance but Simpson won't allow it.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Simpson creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Simpson scores with an uppercut up the middle. Simpson tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Simpson digs a right hand into Pesce's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Pesce's gas tank. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Simpson creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. #CUT#It looks like Leonardo Pesce has been cut. Simpson lands a left hand.

Simpson lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. #CUT#That has opened up Leonardo Pesce's cut even more. A left hand lands to the body for Simpson.
Simpson dips a shoulder and cracks Pesce with a mighty uppercut! Pesce falls back against the cage and Simpson unloads with a barrage of strikes! Pesce is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Simpson screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

#R1# Pesce fakes high and swings low for a body shot but King manages to avoid it. It looked like King was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. King avoids the body shot from Pesce.
Pesce fails with the takedown and King counters with a left and a right that stings Pesce. A combination from King does no damage. King throws a combination that misses and Pesce counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters. We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Pesce has eaten all the pies! King throws a right and a left that both miss. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. King throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Pesce stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Pesce gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and King counters with a right hand to the body. #T1# King keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
A head kick from Pesce lands but King takes it in his stride. Pesce bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. King throws a shot to the body.
Pesce throws a half hearted mid kick. As Pesce looks to move away, King throws a big counter combo but Pesce just gets out of the way. Pesce throws out a loose jab but King uses good head movement to avoid it. Pesce scores with a kick to the midsection. Pesce shoots in but King avoids the takedown attempt easily. Drew King has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Leonardo Pesce.#T2# Thud! ouch! good body kick from Pesce - that will leave a mark!
King takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
King takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Pesce tries to close the distance and clinch but King swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Pesce tries for a takedown but King circles away easily and King counters with a lovely straight right hand! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Pesce misses with a kick to the body and King counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. A combination from Pesce does no damage. King went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.#T3# King connects with a single shot there. Pesce throws a series of punches but King moves out of range. King seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. A decent looking body kick lands there for Pesce. Pesce has a takedown stuffed. King blocks a head kick by Pesce.
King throws a right and a left that Pesce avoids nicely. Pesce tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but King was well out of range. Poor timing from Pesce.#T4# Pesce moves in looking to clinch but King pushes him off. Pesce swings widly with a right hand
and Pesce takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Pesce misses with a right hand and King makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. King is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. Pesce throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. King defending well as Pesce loads up on a big left hand. Pesce throws a half hearted mid kick. King throws a big counter combination but Pesce scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Pesce takes a jab right on the kisser.
Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with each other but Pesce might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, King has got the better of the exchanges.#T2# That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! King crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Pesce - the referee stops the clock and King gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Pesce. King manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Pesce throws an ugly left hook that misses
letting King counter with a right hand. This has been an exciting period of action! Pesce jabbing away but nothing is landing. King clobbers Pesce with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. King digs a good hook to Pesce's body.

King is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Pesce lands a glancing elbow in the clinch. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.#R3# Pesce misses the shot to the body. King throwing a counter right hand but Pesce manages to avoid it. Pesce throws a half hearted mid kick. Pesce lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. King swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Pesce throws a body punch but King moves out of range. King is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Pesce can do to turn this around? King misses with a wild combination.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Pesce! But no joy. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pesce tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Pesce misses the shot to the body. It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting King here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.#T1# Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by King!
King rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Pesce moves out of range and avoids them all easily. King walks straight into an uppercut. The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. The crowd are getting on Pesce's back here. This has been an exciting period of action! Pesce stalling. Oh King is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Pesce lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt King quite badly. King pulls Pesce in close trying to recover. Pesce postures up and lands two really hard shots that put King on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but King doesn't seem to be complaining too much.

Pesce was covering up waiting for the punch and Lane finishes the takedown easily into guard. #SUB2# Pesce looking for a guillotine here but Lane defends easily.
Lane looking to control the position here, rather than advance. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lane trying to control but Pesce is working from the bottom. #T1# Lane is fighting to break Pesce's control of his arms but Pesce is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Lane wanted to stand there but Pesce had control of the position. Pesce is pulling down on Lane's head to control his posture. Lane throwing strikes but missing. #T2# A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Lane trying to control the position from guard on top but Pesce is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. #REF3# The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Lane misses with a series of wild punches.

Leonardo Pesce is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.#T4# The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Pesce looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Buga shoots in for a takedown but Pesce shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Pesce throws a big shot that misses. Buga shoots in but no luck this time. No luck for Buga with that takedown attempt. Pesce half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Leonardo Pesce has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Uga Buga. Pesce swats away the attempt to clinch by Buga. Buga misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Leonardo Pesce dominated that second round. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!#R3# Buga moves in looking to clinch but Pesce pushes him off. Buga fails with the takedown. Pesce throws a big counter combination but Buga scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Buga tries to close the distance and clinch up but Pesce swats him away and circles back towards the center. Pesce bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Buga keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Buga shoots in looking for a takedown but Pesce manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Buga's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nice straight punches there by Buga. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Buga. Pesce throws a nice looking combination but Buga bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Buga moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Leonardo Pesce has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Uga Buga. Buga is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Pesce gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Pesce tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Buga avoids it.#TD# Pesce is trying to trip Buga. He has hold of a leg but Buga is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Pesce persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Pesce slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Pesce wants to lay and pray for a moment but Buga keeps working. Buga tries to improve position but can't. #T2# Pesce tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. The referee asks Pesce politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Pesce prefers to stall for the moment though. Buga is not content to let Pesce control the position. Buga seems a little lost for a moment, as Pesce dominates the positioning.#REF3# The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Buga ducks under a wild hook from Pesce. Buga shoots in looking for a takedown. Pesce tries to sprawl out of it but Buga keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Pesce manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. A little feinted left hand from Pesce on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
