Cartwright throws a series of punches but Dunbar avoids them all with ease. A little feinted left hand from Dunbar on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Dunbar lands a two punch combo.
#ROC#Cartwright is rocked! Cartwright pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Cartwright is still on wobbly legs! Can Dunbar finish him? Cartwright looks up at the clock. Bad move! Dunbar lands a right hand from hell, dropping Cartwright. Dunbar pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.

A little jabbing left from Kamogawa on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Genji Kamogawa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.#KD# Cartwright drops Kamogawa with a left and a right! Oh, Kamogawa is hurt - Cartwright dives into side control looking to finish!
#CUT#It looks like Genji Kamogawa has been cut. Cartwright working away. Cartwright will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Cartwright looking to control but instead Kamogawa has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard. Kamogawa keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Cartwright prevents Kamogawa from improving his position. Cartwright is keen to just control but Kamogawa is a slippery customer. Kamogawa avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Cartwright. Cartwright seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Kamogawa does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Cartwright lands with a punch from half guard. Cartwright lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Cartwright thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. #T1# Cartwright slips a nice elbow through Kamogawa's hands, connecting with Kamogawa's forehead.#SUB# Cartwright is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Kamogawa sees it coming and defends easily. Cartwright missing with the ground and pound from half guard. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Cartwright connects with a nice short shot to Kamogawa's temple. Kamogawa taking some punishment here, with Cartwright in his half guard. Cartwright throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Cartwright is looking to take a break and control but Kamogawa is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kamogawa keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. #SUB# Cartwright is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Cartwright throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. #T2# The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Cartwright lands a nice short elbow. Cartwright looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Kamogawa with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Kamogawa is doing well to control the position and prevent Cartwright from advancing to side control. Cartwright trying to control the action but Kamogawa is working from the bottom. Kamogawa avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Cartwright. Kamogawa regains full guard. Nicely done. Cartwright slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. The strikes coming from Cartwright are missing the target in this wave of attacks. #T3# Kamogawa gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Cartwright misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Kamogawa is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Cartwright.#T4# Cartwright sneaks back into half guard.#SUB# Cartwright looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Kamogawa content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Kamogawa is continuing to stall. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Punchy Cartwright dominated that round. The cut man is working on Genji Kamogawa's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.#R2# Kamogawa stuffs the takedown. Cartwright lands a glancing blow to the side of Kamogawa's head. Cartwright looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Kamogawa in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off. A punch combination from Kamogawa misses. Cartwright connects with a body shot that sends Kamogawa's belly button to the back. Cartwright cracks Kamogawa with a hook to the temple - Kamogawa is on wobbly legs here! Cartwright swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Kamogawa falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Cartwright wins by TKO!

#R1# Cartwright tries a low kick but San avoids it. San was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. San uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Cartwright.
San throwing a counter right hand but Cartwright manages to avoid it. Cartwright misses with a body kick. A quick step to the side and San tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect. San scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.#KD# San feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Cartwright sprawling to the canvas! Cartwright rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can San finish him?!
#ROC#Cartwright is rocked!#CUT#It looks like Punchy Cartwright has been cut. Cartwright takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Ramirez misses with a takedown attempt - Cartwright sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Ramirez swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Ramirez tries to score a power double leg takedown but Cartwright sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Ramirez somewhat. Cartwright tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Cartwright scores with the left hand. Ramirez knows he should have avoided that one. Cartwright lands a nice shot to the body.

I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

He thinks about going to the ground but Ramirez looks back up at him and smiles so Cartwright waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Cartwright knocks out Ramirez with a massive right hand! The ref tackles Cartwright before he can follow up with any more strikes and that's it everyone. Cartwright picks up the big W with a huge KO!

Good standup being displayed there by Cartwright as he connects with a hook. Cartwright lands the left hand. Chavaski takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Chavaski goes for a double leg but Cartwright avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Cartwright continues to drive forward. Cartwright tries to break free but Chavaski pushes him back against the cage. Chavaski can't get the takedown.

It looked like Cartwright wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Cartwright cracks Crumper with an open hand slap. Cartwright looks to land a combination but Crumper avoids it well. And Crumper tries to counter it with a takedown but Cartwright pushes his down on his head and steps out. Cartwright throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
We've been told by Cartwright's head coaches at Irish Collar & Elbow Academy (ICE) that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Cartwright stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Cartwright wants it to stay on the feet. Crumper keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
