#R1##TD2# Cod feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Alvarez being controlled here, momentarily. Cod has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Cozad MMA Tokyo. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one. Alvarez seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission. Cod working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Alvarez's head. Cod looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Cod walks straight into a right hand from GahNO - that's dropped him! GahNO jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Cod from any more punishment! Cod complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

Borsky has had enough of the clinch but Cod keeps him there for the moment. Cod tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Borsky smiles and moves away.
