#R1# O Meara misses with a takedown and Wilson counters with a three punch combo that has O Meara backing up. O Meara nods at Wilson to acknowledge the strikes. O Meara tries for a takedown but Wilson circles away easily and Wilson counters with a nice uppercut. O Meara looks to clinch and Wilson connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.#TD# O Meara feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. O Meara is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.#SUB# O Meara is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. O Meara is pushing down on Wilson's leg trying to pass to half guard. Wilson is fighting to maintain full guard but O Meara has managed to sneak the leg through.#T1# O Meara keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Wilson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with O Meara. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. O Meara wants to control but Wilson is keeping him busy. O Meara looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. #T2# There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. O Meara's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.#REF3# The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Wilson displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as O Meara throws out the jab. Wilson is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. O Meara fails with the takedown and Wilson counters with a nice uppercut. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tom O Meara. That's going to take a lot out of him. O Meara throws a body kick, spinning off balance and Wilson counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. #T3# Wilson fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. O Meara with a lazy takedown attempt and Wilson counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. O Meara misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. O Meara is breathing heavily. O Meara shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and O Meara takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. O Meara takes one to the side of the head.
O Meara tries to clinch but Wilson moves away letting Wilson counter with a right hand. #T4# Wilson connects with a nice looking jab.
O Meara with a poor takedown and Wilson counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Wilson uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before O Meara has time to react. Wilson has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. O Meara gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily letting Wilson counter with a right hand. Wilson might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Wilson jabs O Meara right on the nose. O Meara blinks but takes it well. Wilson scores with a decent looking hook. O Meara is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Wilson. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Alexander Wilson dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!#R2# Wilson cracks O Meara with an open hand slap.#TD# O Meara drives through with a takedown into Wilson's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. O Meara pushes down on Wilson's leg and manages to get into half guard. Wilson is trying to stand.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#T1# O Meara landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. O Meara sitting and controlling from the half guard. Wilson has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Wilson is refusing to be controlled, as O Meara sits in half guard. Wilson is looking to escape. O Meara frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. #T2# The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. O Meara working Wilson over with strikes here. O Meara wants to control the pace but Wilson is squirming around nicely. Wilson is breathing heavily.#SUB# O Meara is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Wilson can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by O Meara!
