ST is trying to pull guard but Smart has him pressed against the cage.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that ST has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
ST tries to score a body lock takedown but Smart shows good agility there to stay on his feet.#TD2#
ST wants the takedown. Smart is fighting it off but ST persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Smart's guard against the cage.
