Mfer avoids the body shot from Ruthlessness.
Mfer throwing a counter right hand but Ruthlessness manages to avoid it. Mfer walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Ruthlessness lands with an uppercut that bounces Mfer off the cage and back into range. A jab from Mfer misses. Ruthlessness throws a body punch but Mfer moves out of range. As Ruthlessness tries to get set, Mfer tries to push him back and clinch up but Ruthlessness manages to avoid the attempt. Ruthlessness scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Ruthlessness uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Mfer. Mfer keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Ruthlessness dips to his left and cracks Mfer with an uppercut! Ruthlessness lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Ruthlessness misses with an uppercut. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Mfer takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Ruthlessness throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Mfer. Mfer was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Mfer walks into a jab. Mfer waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Ruthlessness. A little jabbing left from Ruthlessness on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Mfer ducks under a wild hook from Ruthlessness. Mfer walks into a stiff left hand from Ruthlessness.#ROC2#Mfer is rocked! Ruthlessness fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Mfer to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Mfer looks to clinch but Ruthlessness throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Mfer taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!

#R1# Kissinger throws a head kick that Mfer semi-blocks.
Mfer scores with a sloppy right hand. Kissinger should have avoided that one. Kissinger throws a series of punches but Mfer avoids them all with ease. Mfer cracks Kissinger with an open hand slap. Good shot there by Mfer. A nice leg kick from Kissinger, right into the meat of the thigh.
Mfer seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Kissinger misses with a body kick. The fighters circle momentarily. Mfer darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Kissinger throws a low kick, looking for Mfer's leg but Mfer calmly moves out of range. Kissinger misses with a combination
and Mfer counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Kissinger misses with a lunging right hand
and Mfer counters with a nice body shot. Kissinger looks winded!#KD# Mfer cracks Kissinger with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Kissinger looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Mfer finish him?

Kissinger is still on wobbly legs! Can Mfer finish him? Kissinger glances at the clock... BAM! Mfer nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Kissinger crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Kissinger is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!

#R1# Kuroda tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Mfer defends well and Kuroda ends up having to push Mfer into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Kuroda has been working on his balance at EFC Gym, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Mfer.#BC2# Mfer breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Kuroda closes this distance looking for a takedown but Mfer circles away. Kuroda fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Daizen Kuroda. That's going to take a lot out of him. A looping hook to the body misses from Mfer. Kuroda does a little dance to reset his feet. Kuroda goes for a double leg but Mfer avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Mfer continues to drive forward. Kuroda is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Mfer is defending well. Kuroda's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Kuroda has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#BC2# Mfer breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Kuroda dives in and grabs Mfer's left leg, looking for a takedown. Mfer pushes down on Kuroda's head and hops out. Mfer doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter. Kuroda throws a big shot that misses. Kuroda pushing out the jab but it's not landing. As Kuroda backs off Mfer throws a huge counter combo but Kuroda manages to avoid it all.#T1# Mfer looks to throw the jab but Kuroda is out of range. Mfer staying out of range there. Mfer keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Kuroda. Mfer just misses with a punch to the body.

Kuroda shoots in looking for a takedown but Mfer manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Kuroda's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Phol Mfer is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.#T2# Kuroda tries for a takedown but Mfer sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Kuroda throws a jab when Mfer was well out of range. Mfer appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.#TD# Kuroda fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Mfer sprawls well initially but Kuroda persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Mfer tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Kuroda has advanced to mount. Uh oh. #SUB# Kuroda is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Mfer has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Mfer has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Mfer tries to lock up and control but Kuroda gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.#SUB# Kuroda has hold of Mfer's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Mfer manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Mfer is trying desperately to improve position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.#T4# There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.#SUB# Kuroda with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

Kuroda is really struggling to control Mfer but he's trying to hold on to the position.#SUB# Kuroda looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Kuroda tries to pass the half guard into mount. Mfer knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Mfer really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kuroda. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Mfer is in trouble now - Kuroda has advanced to mount! #SUB# Kuroda goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Mfer turns into him and now he's in Kuroda's guard.

After the fight, Daizen Kuroda was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. #R1# We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Mfer looks to score with a jab to the body but Kuroda is just out of range. Kuroda's coach down at EFC Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Kuroda's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Kuroda ducks under a wild hook from Mfer. Nice sprawl there from Mfer as Kuroda shoots in. A big left from Mfer misses. Kuroda throws a lazy uppercut
and Mfer counters with a straight right hand. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Kuroda is defended easily by Mfer.#T1# Kuroda keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Mfer. Kuroda with a lazy takedown attempt and Mfer counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Phol Mfer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Daizen Kuroda. Kuroda throws an off balance right hand
and Mfer counters with a lovely shot to the body. A slow jab from Mfer misses its intended target. Mfer loads up on a big right hand but Kuroda slips the punch. Kuroda wants to counter the offense by Mfer and move into the clinch position.#T2# Mfer throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

#R1# Rasnov shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Mfer fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Rasnov misses with a jab to the body

Rasnov throws a body kick that misses and Mfer counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Rasnov takes a body punch but keeps moving. Rasnov doesn't seem phased though. Rasnov seems to have got his legs back now. Rasnov fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Mfer is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Rasnov with a body shot. Rasnov dives in for a single leg takedown but Mfer sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Mfer throws out a counter right but Rasnov avoids it with no problem. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Selimkhan Rasnov. That's going to take a lot out of him. Mfer pushes Rasnov back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. #BC2# Mfer's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.#CL# Rasnov rushes Mfer and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Mfer throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. Rasnov is breathing heavily. Mfer stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. A hook to the body from Mfer.

Rasnov had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush.#KD2# Mfer drops Rasnov with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Rasnov looks back up at him and smiles so Mfer waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Nice shot lands for Mfer.#KD2# Mfer feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Rasnov sprawling to the canvas! Rasnov rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Mfer finish him?!
