#R1# Bong walks into a stiff left hand from Williams. Bong swinging wildly here.
Bong looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Williams lands a body shot.
Bong darts in looking for a takedown but Williams gets double underhooks and turns Bong into the cage. Williams shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.#TD2# Bong darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Bong working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Williams tries to roll over but Bong keeps him under control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bong working the head and body with strikes. #T1# Williams is looking to escape. Bong tries to stand but his arm is trapped. Williams is trying to stand back up but Bong is controlling him
#SUB# Williams looking for submissions off his back. Bong tries to pass the half guard into mount. Williams knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Bong has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Bong wants to take a breather but Williams is having none of it. #SUB2# Bong looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Williams keeping control of the position. #T2# Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Williams works his way to full guard. Good work. Williams throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Williams wants to sweep but no luck. Bong pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Williams is keeping the position for now. #REF3# The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Williams fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Bong avoids it really well and circles away.#T3# Williams tries to score a power double leg takedown but Bong sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Williams somewhat. Despite the aggression on Bong's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tank Williams. That's going to take a lot out of him.#TD2# The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Bong shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Bong showed some decent athleticism there. Bong sitting and controlling from the half guard. #T4# Bong tries to stand but his arm is trapped. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Bong connects with a nice short shot to Williams's temple. Williams is trying to stand.
Williams pushes Bong off but Bong dives into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Williams looking for a sweep but Bong has passed into full mount! Oh no! Bong prevents Williams from getting the reversal. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Muk Bong dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.#R2# Williams tries to clinch up but Bong circles away and keeps his distance. Bong displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Williams throws out the jab. #CL2# Bong clinches. Bong drops down looking for an ankle pick but Williams pulls his leg out and moves away.
Bong tries to land a front kick but Williams steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Williams swinging wildly here.
Williams throws a poor cross that misses
and Bong counters with a two punch combo. Williams shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Bong sprawls well. Bong wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Williams gets slowly back to his feet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bong tries to clinch but Williams is having none of it. #TD2# Williams tries to sprawl but Bong drives through with a takedown into half guard. Williams scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Bong manages to mount him!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Williams squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
#T1# Bong unloading with bombs! Bong looking to finish Williams with some ground and pound. This is bad for Williams! Bong putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Bong lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Bong connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Bong wants to control the pace but Williams is squirming around nicely. Bong controlling the position easily from mount. Williams is in all sorts of trouble here.
#T2# Williams is trying to reverse the position but instead Bong has taken his back - oops! Bong avoiding Williams 's attempts to control his hands. Bong slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
Bong gets his hooks in and is throwing strikes. Williams knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Bong on the ground. Williams covers up after that shot from Bong.
Bong not allowing Williams to control his hands. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!#SUB2# Bong has his opponent's back and is working for the choke. #T3##SUB2# Bong looking for the choke from the back. A bit of a pause in the action here. Bong controlling the positon. Bong wants to control but Williams is keeping busy. Williams trying to control the action but Bong just sinks the hooks in. Williams is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Bong is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.#T4# The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Williams is trying to break free.
Williams is trying to stand back up. Williams trying to control but not successfully. Williams can't escape the position.
Bong biding his time, looking for the opening.
I really don't envy Williams right now.
Williams is working hard here to advance position. Williams is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Bong.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Muk Bong showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!#R3# Williams misses with a head kick.
Williams sets himself, and Bong steps forward looking for the clinch! Williams avoids it this time. Williams stuffs the takedown. Nice sprawl there from Bong as Williams shoots in. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Williams.#TD2# Bong shoots in and gets a takedown into Williams's guard. Bong is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Bong lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Williams works his way to full guard. Good work. Bong wants to control from the top but Williams keeps moving. Bong scoring with punches to the head and body. Williams not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Bong wants to get up but he can't break Williams's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. #REF3# The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Bong has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Williams takes a body punch but keeps moving. Williams looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Bong is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tank Williams. That's going to take a lot out of him.#T3# Bong shoots in for a takedown but Williams shows good takedown defense. #TD# Williams drives through with a takedown into guard. Williams won't allow Bong to get back to his feet. Williams wants to pass the guard but Bong is keeping the position. Williams trying to control the position from guard on top but Bong is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Bong bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Williams's guard. #REVB# Williams looking to control.
Bong advances position into side control!#T4# Williams tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Bong wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Bong takes a little break here. Williams wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Bong tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Williams is pushing Bong's head away, looking to escape. Bong manages to hold on to the position though. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Bong working away. Tank Williams has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Muk Bong is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Bong wants to stand but Williams is controlling his arm.
And that's the end of the fight! Muk Bong comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Bong has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
