But Mizanin takes advantage instantly and he's locked on an arm triangle! Big trouble for Saganov! Oh that looks nasty! A human being's head is not meant to turn that color! Saganov is out! He's gone limp! The ref steps in to break the fighters up and Mizanin celebrates the victory with the fans!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Mike Mizanin! Mike Mizanin decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little. |

#R1# Saganov scores with a nice strike. Richardson dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Saganov. That did some damage! Saganov throws a combination that misses and Richardson makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Richardson throws a nice outside leg kick. A combination from Saganov does no damage. We've been informed that Richardson has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Ivan Saganov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Saganov misses with a combination
and Richardson counters with a leg kick. Richardson fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Saganov has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Richardson looks to land a combination but Saganov avoids it well. Saganov dodges the punch combination from Richardson.
Richardson takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.#CUT2#It looks like Ivan Saganov has been cut. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Saganov tries to clinch but fails miserably and Richardson counters with a slapping leg kick. #T1# Richardson misses with a looping right. Richardson connects with a solid leg kick. Richardson circles away from the clinch attempt and Richardson counters with a slapping leg kick. Saganov definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Richardson throws a hook to the side of Saganov's head but Saganov sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Richardson connects with a single shot there. Saganov stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Richardson. Good leg kick by Richardson. Richardson works Saganov's body with a nice hook. Rich Richardson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. A looping hook to the body misses from Saganov. Richardson does a little dance to reset his feet. Richardson tries a quick counter leg kick but Saganov is wise to it. Saganov needs to keep his hands up - Richardson had a free shot at his head there. Richardson cracks Saganov with an open hand slap.#T2# The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Richardson lands a nice leg kick that just misses Saganov's sensitive parts. Saganov looks to throw a body kick and Richardson counters with a low kick, right behind Saganov 's knee. Richardson connects with an inside leg kick. Richardson looks to land a left hand but Saganov moved out of range nicely. Saganov swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

Richardson tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Saganov was well out of range. Poor timing from Richardson. Saganov takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Richardson throws a right hand that Saganov ducks under and follows up with a left that Saganov also avoids with ease. Richardson connects with a crisp jab. Saganov tries to clinch up and Richardson counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. #CUT2#Ivan Saganov's cut is getting worse.#T3# Richardson lands with a thumping leg kick.
#KD2# Richardson scores a flash knockdown with a right hook that drops Saganov to his hands and knees! The ref pushes Richardson away as he looks to land an illegal blow. Saganov got an extra few seconds to recover there, which could have made all the differences as he stumbles back to his feet. The referee looks into his eyes and decides to allow the bout to continue. Can he survive?! Richardson showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Saganov.

Saganov throws a combination that misses and Richardson counters with a good low kick that Saganov was not able to check. Saganov is breathing heavily. Saganov tries to get into range but Richardson steps to the side and lands a beautiful hook that drops Saganov! He's faceplanted into the mat, ass in the air... he's out cold! That's an image he won't want to show his grandkids when he gets older! Richardson scores the big KO victory!

#R1# Saganov keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Talbain. Saganov wants to clinch. Talbain avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Talbain rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Saganov moves out of range and avoids them all easily.#CL2# Talbain clinches up with Saganov and pushes him back against the ropes.#BC# Saganov escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
No joy there for Saganov, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Saganov swings widly with a right hand
and Talbain counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Talbain is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Saganov throws a left and a right that both miss
#CL2# and Talbain holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Saganov tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Talbain's elbow. #BC2# Talbain pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Talbain misses with a wild combination.
#T1# Talbain tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Saganov was well out of range. Poor timing from Talbain. As Talbain backs away, Saganov returns fire with a leg kick that just misses. Talbain misses with a combination
#KD# and Saganov counters with a right, a left and a big uppercut that drops Talbain to the mat! Saganov runs to a neutral corner to get the count going quickly. 3,4,5,6 and Talbain is back to his feet. He seems ready to continue - the ref agrees so we're back at it!#CL# Saganov has managed to clinch.

Talbain told us before the fight that he's been working on his elbows. An under utilised technique these days - let's see if it can sway the outcome of the fight. Talbain misses with some punches.

Saganov uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Talbain has time to react. Talbain throws a leg kick that is checked and as Talbain takes a moment to reset, Saganov counters with a massive combo! Right, left, right! Talbain goes down! He's in big trouble, can he recover? 3,4,5,6,7,8,9....10. He's out! Saganov is your winner!

#R1# Saganov fails in his attempt to clinch. Saganov throws a head kick but Toevadoit moves out of range.
Saganov steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Toevadoit. That one must have hurt. Toevadoit with a nice calf kick. Toevadoit is looking to slow Saganov down with leg kicks. Toevadoit throws a front kick that sends Saganov stumbling back into the ropes. Saganov is breathing heavily.#KD2# Toevadoit lands a head kick that bluckles Saganov and drops him to the canvas. He's still conscious but it looks like it's going to take him the full 10 seconds to get back his senses! He's up on 9 and seems to be just about OK to continue.... the referee agrees and we're back to the action with Toevadoit no doubt looking to push for a finish!#CUT2#It looks like Ivan Saganov has been cut. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Saganov tries to clinch but Toevadoit moves out of range. Saganov misses with a straight right. Toevadoit throws a big counter head kick but Saganov avoids it with no problem. Saganov drops his guard momentarily, allowing Toevadoit to crack him with a picture perfect lead left hook! Boom! Down goes Saganov! Oh, he's in big trouble - I don't like his chances here as the referee's count reaches 5. 6,7,8,9...10! He's out! Toevadoit takes it!

Saganov is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.#TD# Levesque gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Saganov wants to improve his position but Levesque is controlling well.
Levesque is keen to just control but Saganov is a slippery customer. Saganov is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. #T1##SUB2# Saganov looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Levesque wants to pass to mount but Saganov is defending the position. Levesque missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Levesque wants to control but Saganov is keeping him busy. Levesque seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.#SUB2# Saganov is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Levesque pulls his head out easily. #T2# There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. No damage this time. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Saganov is looking to stand up but Levesque won't let him. Saganov wants to control from the top but Levesque keeps moving. Saganov connects with a couple of short punches. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
