#R1##TD2# Galvus closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Galvus lands in his opponent's guard.#SUB# Omalen looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Galvus passes into side control.
Galvus controlling from side mount. Omalen is looking for a sweep. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Omalen wants to control but Galvus postures up. Omalen is not content to let Galvus control the position. #T1##SU2# Galvus decides to stand back up. Galvus throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. #CL# Omalen has Galvus up against the cage in a clinch.
Omalen throws a head punch that misses. A head punch blocked on the inside by Galvus. Galvus is looking to break free of the clinch but Omalen has double underhooks. Galvus jumps guard but Omalen turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Omalen creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Galvus wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Omalen has him pressed against the cage. Omalen swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Omalen lands with a short shot to the head. #T2# Omalen misses with a shot to the kidneys.

Omalen trying to control the position from guard on top but Galvus is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Galvus should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Galvus is looking to stand up but Omalen isn't so interested in that idea. Omalen will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Omalen trying to control but Galvus is working from the bottom. #T3# Galvus tries to land a sweep but no joy. Omalen postures up.

We'll restart on the feet.#TD2# Galvus drives through with a takedown into Omalen's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Galvus content to stall in guard here. Omalen wants to sweep but no luck. #T4# Galvus trying to control but Omalen is working from the bottom. Galvus won't allow Omalen to sweep him here. #SUB# Omalen is looking for a triangle but Galvus pushes his legs off easily.
Omalen utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Omalen trying to keep a closed guard but Galvus is proving a slippery customer.
#REF3# The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Galvus tries to clinch but Omalen moves out of range. #TD2# Galvus shoots in and gets a takedown into Omalen's guard. Galvus is pushing down on Omalen's leg trying to pass to half guard. Omalen is fighting to maintain full guard but Galvus has managed to sneak the leg through. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Anthony Galvus dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!#R2# Omalen slaps away a takedown attempt from Galvus, before circling back to the center of the mat.#TD2# Galvus shoots in and bounces Omalen off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Omalen trying to control the position here. Omalen knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Galvus on the ground. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Omalen keeping moving, preventing Galvus from controlling successfully. Galvus is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.#T1##SUB# Omalen isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Galvus stacks Omalen on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Galvus! You can see the frustration on Omalen's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Galvus wants to control but Omalen is keeping him busy. Omalen is trying to improve his position.#T2# The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Galvus throws an elbow but Omalen slips to the side and avoids it well. Omalen tries to bench press Galvus off him but Galvus keeps the position. Omalen tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Galvus presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount! Galvus postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Omalen looks a forlorn figure.

Galvus cracks Omalen with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
#ROC2#Omalen is rocked! Galvus postures up and lands a whopping elbow - oh that's hurt Omalen bigstyle! Two more strikes land for Galvus and the fight is over!
