#R1# Both fighters are only really looking to counter, so after a good 30 seconds of circling each other endlessly, the referee has stepped in and told them both to be more aggressive. One slips a jab from Three. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Three misses with a hook. Three slips a straight right by One.#T1# A swing and a miss from One. A little jabbing left from Three on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. One moves out of range as Three strikes. Three misses the jab. One swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Three staying out of range there. Three swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.#T2# The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Three waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract One. Three slips a straight right by One. Three throws out a counter right but One avoids it with no problem. Three throws a jab but it's blocked by One. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! One cracks Three with a right hand to the side of the head.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Test One. Well One has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1 round of action, we go to the scorecards for a decision. Judge James Atkins scores the fight 10:9 Judge Richard Clark scores the fight 10:9 Judge Steven Brown scores the fight 10:9
In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Test One! |
