#R1# Hamald throws a jab but it's blocked by Sakuragi. #CL2# The fight moves into the clinch position. A frustrated look appears on Hamald's face as he tries to break the clinch. Hamald wants to get back to striking at distance but Sakuragi won't allow it.
Sakuragi is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Hamald pulls him back up using the underhooks. Sakuragi is working for takedown but Hamald is calmly controlling the position for now. Sakuragi wants to take the fight to the mat but Hamald manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Mark Hamald has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sendo Sakuragi.#BC# Hamald breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Sakuragi is trying hard to land a takedown here. Hamald sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Sakuragi avoids a wild elbow strike from Hamald. #R1# Champion Jr ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Sakuragi moves away.#CL# Champion Jr clinches with his opponent.
#TD2# Sakuragi wants the takedown. Champion Jr is fighting it off but Sakuragi persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Champion Jr's guard against the cage. Sakuragi's corner is telling him to maintain position.#SUB2# Sakuragi drops back looking for a leg! Champion Jr is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Champion Jr manages to kick Sakuragi off! Sakuragi jumps back into Champion Jr's guard. Champion Jr working a defensive guard here.

#R1# Sakuragi drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Fisher chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Sakuragi fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Fisher avoids it really well and circles away.#TD2# Sakuragi closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Fisher quickly recovers to half guard. Sakuragi performing his best blanket impression for a moment. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Fisher trying to control from the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SUB2# Sakuragi is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Fisher sees it coming and defends easily. Fisher is looking to improve his position.

Possibly, maybe, no Sakuragi has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Sam Fisher has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Sendo Sakuragi is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Fisher is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
