He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Diaz was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Diaz scoring with punches from side control. #SUB# Diaz has an Americana. Lexington didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Diaz is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Diaz hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

Diaz shoots in for a double leg but Frankies sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Diaz shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Frankies as he jumps to the side. Edgar Frankies has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hick Diaz. Diaz tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Frankies defends well and Diaz ends up having to push Frankies into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Diaz misses with a takedown and Frankies counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Diaz thinking. #TD# Diaz gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Frankies to score an easy takedown into full guard. Frankies definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.#SUB2# Diaz working for a triangle but Frankies defends it easily.

Diaz takes a shot right to the bread basket. O Brien bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Diaz's head backwards. O Brien throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Diaz walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Diaz has his takedown stuffed and O Brien connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! O Brien fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.#ROC#Diaz is rocked! Decent striking displayed by O Brien there. Diaz is still on wobbly legs! Can O Brien finish him? The crowd are loving this. Great action here. O Brien lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. O Brien is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. Are you kidding me?! O Brien ducked down and unloaded an uppercut from hell that sent Diaz clean off his feet! Someone make me a GIF - that's knockout of the night for sure!

Diaz has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.#SUB# Diaz is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Nyambe looks calm but he's in trouble here. Diaz gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Nyambe is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Diaz lets go of the hold and Nyambe can pop his arm back in it's socket.

Those have got to be taking their toll on Diaz's gas tank. I was talking to Ginger's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. Diaz has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Ginger is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Ginger lands a shot to the body. Ginger throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. Ginger stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. Diaz looks winded! Diaz goes for a takedown attempt but Ginger pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
