Quigley shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Mason sprawls well. Mason wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Quigley gets slowly back to his feet. Quigley displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Mason. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Walter Mason. That's going to take a lot out of him.#TD2# Mason tries to sprawl but Quigley drives through with a takedown into half guard. Quigley is thwarting Mason's attempts to control the position. Quigley tries to pass the half guard into mount. Mason knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mason gets full guard. Quigley won't allow Mason to sweep him here. Mason is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Shiba is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Shiba manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Quigley manages to get himself to full guard.
