He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Diarra looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Shite! Submission of the night perhaps?

Diarra takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Jab, jab by Guy - just one landing.
Diarra throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Guy's waist but Guy gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Diarra off to one side. #KD#
Guy lands a big head kick that sends Diarra tumbling to the mat! Guy takes a step backwards and waves Diarra back to his feet - he wants the finish!#CUT#It looks like Mahamadu Diarra has been cut.

Whack! Guy lands a heavy head kick that drops Diarra. The ref tackles Guy to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Diarra was done.

Tall Guy decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way. |
