Galvao is looking to counter the offense by Hughs and move into the clinch. Hughs throws a combination that misses #CL# and Galvao counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Galvao. Hughs is trying to maintain a safe position but Galvao gets an underhook and turns Hughs into the cage.#TD# Galvao decides to pull guard. Galvao wants to sweep here but Hughs controlling him for the moment. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Hughs creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Dead Ii tries to throw a body punch but Hughs avoids it by throwing Dead Ii back against the cage. Dead Ii wants to break free but Hughs has control.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dead Ii stalling against the cage.

Dead Ii tries to reverse the position but Hughs maintains control. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Hughs wants to control the pace but Dead Ii is squirming around nicely. #T3# Dead Ii really trying hard to get back to half guard here.

#T4# The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Dead Ii tries to hold on but Hughs pushes him away. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Dead Ii has worked his way to half guard, taking advantage of Hughs's lack of action.
Dead Ii is trying to get back to full guard.#SU2# Hughs decides to stand up. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Hughs tries to clinch but Dead Ii is having none of it.
And that's the end of the fight! Rhys Hughs comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Hughs has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

#R1# Hughs looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Moose now looks to counter with a shot at the body. Whack! Hughs lands a heavy head kick that drops Moose. The ref tackles Hughs to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Moose was done.

He has the arm isolated but Hughs is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Contreras works to advance to full mount. Hughs defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. #SUB# Contreras is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Hughs to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Hughs shrugs it off. Contreras takes his opponent's back. Perhaps a chance to lock up a rear naked choke here.
