Reece circles away from the clinch attempt.
It looked like Reece was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Reece thows a body kick. Satonaka tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Satonaka swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Reece goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.#CUT#It looks like Chie Satonaka has been cut.

Satonaka gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Reece has had enough of the clinch but Satonaka keeps him there for the moment.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Satonaka has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Reece gets caught flat footed, as Backman shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Reece is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Backman is controlling him. #SUB#
Backman drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Backman jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Backman is pushing down on Reece's leg trying to pass to half guard. Reece is fighting to maintain full guard but Backman has managed to sneak the leg through.
Reece wants to get back to his feet.

Reece wants to hold on but Backman pushes him away.
Backman has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Reece's face.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Backman avoids the attempt from Reece to control.
Backman has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Menezes drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Reece gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Menezes makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

Reece shoots in and drives through. Menezes sprawls well.

Menezes shoots in for a takedown but Reece shows good takedown defense.
Reece half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.

Reece feints a jab and as Menezes dips his head, Reece unleashes a brutal head kick that catches Menezes right on the jaw! Timbeeer! Menezes falls backwards in slow motion, only propped up by the cage! Reece smiles a psychotic smile as he stares down his unconscious opponent. That is a scary man.

Sukarman stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Reece.
Sukarman takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Reece throws a head kick that misses.
Sukarman takes a head kick and keeps coming.
