Kobzev throws a wild combination but nothing lands. #TD#
Sup closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Sup lands in his opponent's guard.
Sup preventing the sweep.
Sup in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Sup trying to control but Kobzev is working from the bottom.

Sup throwing strikes from guard but Kobzev blocks nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sup works a leg free and moves into half guard.

Sup throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Sup looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Kobzev with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.#T1#
Sup seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Kobzev does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Sup looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

Sup has his opponent pinned against the ropes, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Kobzev's face.

Kobzev's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
