Doodes definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Humphrey with a flurry of punches that miss. Doodes tries to land a sweep but no joy. Humphrey must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Humphrey trying to control but Doodes is working from the bottom. #REVR# Doodes is stalling in the full guard. #T1# Doodes works over Humphrey with some ground and pound from guard. Humphrey keeping moving, preventing Doodes from controlling successfully. Doodes not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Doodes with a nice head shot there. Doodes trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Humphrey trying to control the position.
Doodes makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Humphrey really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Doodes. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Doodes passes into half guard. #T2# Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Doodes in particular looking to stall. Doodes scoring with strikes to the body and head. Doodes content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. #SUB# Humphrey pushes Doodes off, looking to escape but Doodes dives into side control. He's locked up a kimura now - that was fast! He's cranking on it and Humphrey is forced to tap! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Jim Doodes! Jim Doodes bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it. |
