We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Stamp throws a nice elbow from the bottom.#SUB#
Stamp working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Pierce doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Pierce manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Pierce accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. #T1#

Pierce tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

Stamp is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Pierce presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.

And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Melting Stamp showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Stamp has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

No joy there for Pierce, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Pierce closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Jones quickly recovers to half guard.
Jones manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Pierce keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage. #TD2#
Jones is trying to trip Pierce. He has hold of a leg but Pierce is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Jones persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Jones is in close to Pierce's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Jones distracts Pierce with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Jones chips away with some ground and pound.

Pierce content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Jones has locked up a guillotine! Jones's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Pierce is holding on here and Jones must be using up a lot of energy. Pierce has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Jones gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
