Falto lands a hook that snaps the head of Doyle backwards. Doyle is trying to push Falto away but Falto has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.#TD# Doyle is fighting off a takedown attempt but Falto is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Doyle to the mat. Doyle regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Falto throws a big right hand that misses. Falto stopping the sweep attempt from Doyle. Falto slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.#SUB# Falto thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. #SUB# Falto is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Doyle knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. #R1# Doyle tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Eugene paws at him with a jab and circles away. Doyle pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Doyle scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Doyle moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Eugene shoots in and drives through. Doyle sprawls well. Doyle wants to counter with a clinch but Eugene pushes him away. Doyle avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Eugene shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Doyle doesn't manage to clinch there - Eugene circles away.
Eugene is trying hard to land a takedown here. Doyle sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Paul Eugene.
