Holland tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Zezinho looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Holland slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
We've been told by Holland's head coaches at New York Public Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Holland lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Zezinho cracks Holland with a right hand to the side of the head.
Zezinho avoids a punch combination nicely.
Zezinho swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Holland was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.#TD#
Holland closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Zezinho quickly recovers to half guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Holland takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Hunter throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Hunter lands a nice looking body shot.
Holland on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Holland is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
A punch combination from Hunter misses.
BOOM! Hunter lands a beautiful left hook that drops Holland. Holland tries to recover but Hunter is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Holland lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Commie Hunter!
Commie Hunter was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed. |

A jab lands there for Holland.
Holland is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Dixon tries to counter by clinching up but Holland breaks away and moves out of range.
Dixon shoots for a double leg takedown but Holland sprawls well. He's pushed Dixon's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Dixon.
Holland scores with the left hand. Dixon knows he should have avoided that one.
