It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Bot wants it to stay on the feet.#TD# Orte feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Bot wants to sweep but no luck. Bot trying to keep a closed guard but Orte is proving a slippery customer.
Bot keeping full guard, as Orte tries to pass. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Orte stopping the sweep attempt from Bot. Orte is looking to stand up but Bot won't let him. #SUB2# Bot working for a triangle but Orte defends it easily.
#T1# Orte controls the pace of the fight for a moment.#REF3# The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Bot takes one on the button.#CUT#It looks like Spar Bot has been cut. Bot tries to clinch up. Orte throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Bot fails with an attempt to clinch.
#TD# Orte drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Orte stops Bot from standing up. Orte slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Orte has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.#T2# Bot controls Orte momentarily but Orte frees himself. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Orte seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Bot is striking but Orte is not phased and passes to half guard. Bot fails miserably with a takedown attempt.#TD# Orte closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Bot tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck. #T4##SUB# Orte is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Bot to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Bot shrugs it off. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Bot can do anything to dispel that myth. Orte takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Bot is in all sorts of trouble here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bot really wants to buck Orte off and get back to his feet. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Orte looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Orte! #REVR##T1# Orte controlling the position. Romieoga Orte overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Bot is trying to get back to half guard. Orte advances nicely into full mount. Bot keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Orte controlling the pace for now. #T2# The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Orte with the ground and pound from mount. Bot tries to hold on but Orte postures up. Orte is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Bot can do to turn this around? Orte tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Bot is working to get back to half guard.

Orte sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Orte's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Bot takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Bot reaches up to try and control the position but Orte seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Bot rolls and tries to escape and now Orte has his back!
#T4# Orte has Bot flattened out and is raining down punches. Orte has good solid back control here. Orte throwing damaging strikes from the back! Bot could be in trouble here!
#CUT#That has opened up Spar Bot's cut even more. Bot is breathing heavily. Bot is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet. #SUB# Orte is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.#SUB# Bot is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Orte gets his way!

He's got his arms around Bot's waist but Bot gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Orte off to one side. Romieoga Orte is winning the standup battle so far. Bot tries to clinch up but Orte circles away and keeps his distance. Orte is looking to counter with head kicks. And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Romieoga Orte. Well Orte has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Bot gets slowly back to his feet. Salvacion swats away the attempt to clinch by Bot. Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Salvacion. Bot shrugs it off though. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bot swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Salvacion counters with a good, hard body kick but Bot shrugs it off. Salvacion fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Bot tries to clinch but Salvacion is having none of it. Bot looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Salvacion is fending him off so far but Bot persists. Nope, Salvacion circles away and we're back to standing. Salvacion thinks about countering with a head kick.#T1##TD2# Bot is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Salvacion's half guard. Bot is lucky that one didn't land flush. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Bot. Salvacion is trying to counter with his kicks.#TD# Bot closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Salvacion did well to prevent Bot getting side control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bot wants to take a breather but Salvacion is having none of it. #SUB# Bot is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Salvacion defends it well. Bot is working away from the top position though. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Bot connects with a nice short shot to Salvacion's temple. Bot seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Bot is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. #T2# Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Bot looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Bot is trying to control. Salvacion wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. #REF3# The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Bot shoots in looking for a takedown but Salvacion manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Bot's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Bot fails in his attempt to clinch. Salvacion counters with a body kick. Salvacion throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Bot's waist but Bot gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Salvacion off to one side. #T3##TD2# Salvacion looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Bot has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Salvacion has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage. Bot tries for a takedown but Salvacion manages to get underhooks.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Spar Bot. That's going to take a lot out of him. Bot has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Salvacion throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. Bot is trying to break the clinch but Salvacion has him pressed against the cage. Bot throws a head punch that misses. Bot tries to break free but Salvacion pushes him back against the cage.#T4# Bot looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Salvacion wants to take the fight to the mat but Bot manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Bot is working for takedown but Salvacion is calmly controlling the position for now. Bot tries to pull guard but Salvacion forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Salvacion blocks a body shot from Bot. Richard John Salvacion has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Bot looking for a takedown. Bot is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Salvacion is keeping busy. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Salvacion goes for a takedown attempt but Bot pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
And that's the end of the fight! Spar Bot showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Bot, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
