Gordon forces Kelly back against the cage and clinches.
Kelly is pushing Gordon up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Kelly tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Gordon just stands there and leans against the cage.
Gordon working aggressively here.
Kelly fails to pull guard.

Kelly is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Gordon defends it well.
Kelly prevents Gordon from standing back up.

Kelly is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Gordon is just riding it out for now. Kelly eventually gives up the hold.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Kelly can do anything to dispel that myth.

Gordon shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Kelly's guard.
Kelly is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Kelly wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Gordon is now in half guard.

Kelly stands up over Gordon, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. #SUB#
Gordon pushes a forearm under Kelly's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Kelly is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
