#R1# Both fighters are only really looking to counter, so after a good 30 seconds of circling each other endlessly, the referee has stepped in and told them both to be more aggressive. Law lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Law misses the jab. Zig wants to counter with a clinch but Law pushes him away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Law misses with a looping right. Law sets himself, and Zig steps forward looking for the clinch! Law avoids it this time. Law swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Zig wants to counter with a clinch but Law pushes him away.#T1# Law slips under a jab. Law waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Zig. Zig throws a shot from downtown. Law moves away and avoids it. Zig throws a hook but Law avoids it easily. Law wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.#T2# A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Law bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Zig's head. Law really is a fat lump. A jab from Law misses. Zig wants to counter the offense by Law and move into the clinch position. Zig throws an overhand right that lands on Law's shoulder, as Law tries to avoid the shot. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Law misses with a hook. Zig ducked under it nicely.
And that's the end of the fight! Tom Law showed his dominance in that final round. Well Law has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1 round of action, we go to the scorecards for a decision. Judge Stewart Dunkirk scores the fight 10:9 Judge Frank Dennis scores the fight 10:9 Judge Alan Glass scores the fight 10:9
In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Tom Law! |
