And in the blue corner, fighting out of Hilo, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Banker Five! The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Jeff Smith and Paul Gruel.
The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way.#TD# Logan shoots in and gets a takedown into Five's guard. Score +2 for takedown into guard / half guard: Logan (2) vs (0) Five Logan passes into half guard. Five is looking for a sweep. Logan is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Logan seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Five does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Five tries to roll over but Logan keeps him under control. Five preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head. Logan wants to take a breather but Five is having none of it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SUB# Logan is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Not this time though. Five is trying to maintain the position but Logan is very close to passing his half guard. Logan perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Five keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Five regains half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Five doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position.
