Bong getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Steindorsson fails with the takedown
and Bong counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.#TD#
Steindorsson closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Still in half guard, Steindorsson seems content to control.
Bong tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Bong bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Bong dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Steindorsson.

Steindorsson on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Bong. Bong obviously looking to wear him down.
Steindorsson takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Steindorsson is breathing heavily.
Steindorsson doesn't succeed with the takedown
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.

A nice inside leg kick there by Bong. That's going to slow Steindorsson down.
Bong lands a nice looking body shot.
Steindorsson walks into a jab.
Nice uppercut lands for Bong. That snapped Steindorsson's head back.
Oh Steindorsson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Bong cracks Steindorsson on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Steindorsson falls backwards against the cage. Bong follows up with more strikes that drop Steindorsson to his knees. Bong keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Steindorsson! This one is all over!
