We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Dragon trying to control the position but Mattos is working away. Mattos pushes Dragon away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Dragon gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. What's Mattos going to do here then? Dragon wants to lay and pray for a moment but Mattos keeps working. #T4# The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Mattos is positioning himself to get back to half guard. #ES2# Mattos bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet! Mattos looks to score with a jab to the body but Dragon is just out of range. Jab from Mattos. Dragon shoots in for a double leg but Mattos sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Imagine Dragon. That's going to take a lot out of him. Mattos ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Mattos punishes Dragon's body with a nice straight punch. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Mattos lands with a nice body punch. Mattos connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Dragon's hands. Dragon ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Mattos throws a body shot but no joy. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Dragon changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Carlos Mattos seems to be getting the better of the standup. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Mattos digs a good body shot into Dragon's ribs. BOOM! Mattos lands a beautiful left hook that drops Dragon. Dragon tries to recover but Mattos is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Dragon lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!

Gastelum looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Dragon shoots in for a takedown but Gastelum shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Dragon tries to score a power double leg takedown but Gastelum sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Dragon somewhat. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Imagine Dragon. That's going to take a lot out of him. Dragon misses with a takedown attempt - Gastelum sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Gastelum throws a body punch but Dragon moves out of range. Gastelum throws a series of punches but Dragon moves out of range. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. And that's the end of the fight! Robert Gastelum comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Gastelum has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. Cleary tries to stand but Dragon is controlling from the bottom. Cleary tries to free his leg and advance position but Dragon is retaining full guard. Cleary trying to control the position from guard on top but Dragon is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dragon has control of Cleary's left arm, preventing Cleary from doing any damage. Cleary trying to control but Dragon is working from the bottom. #T1##REF3# The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.#CL# Dragon tries to keep at a distance but Cleary has taken the fight into the clinch. Dragon manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
#TD2# Cleary is fighting off a takedown attempt but Dragon is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Cleary to the mat. Cleary regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Dragon stays in close to Cleary's body and controls the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Cleary tries to land a sweep but no joy.
