McGregII closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.

Cloutier is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
McGregII effectively controlling the action here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.#TD2#
McGregII is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Cloutier can't fight it off and eventually McGregII manages to take the fight to the floor. Cloutier looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
McGregII passes Cloutier's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
McGregII missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
McGregII not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
McGregII looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Let's hope that McGregII has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.#T2#
It looks like McGregII might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.#SU2#

McGregII tries to land knees in the clinch but Cloutier avoids the damage to the body.
McGregII fails to pull guard.
McGregII tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Cloutier just stands there and leans against the cage.
Al Cloutier has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of ConnII McGregII.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
Cloutier is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. #T4#
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
McGregII wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Cloutier has him pressed against the cage.
McGregII has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Cloutier wants to stall.
McGregII is struggling to control the position.

Cloutier feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends McGregII sprawling to the canvas! McGregII rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Cloutier finish him?!

McGregII drops his hands momentarily. Cloutier doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. McGregII staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. McGregII doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:10 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Al Cloutier!

McGregII fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Paqui avoids it really well and circles away.
Paqui looks to clinch
and McGregII counters with a left and a right that stings Paqui.
Paqui doesn't succeed with the takedown
and McGregII counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.#CL2#
McGregII has taken the fight to the clinch.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.
McGregII is trying to push Paqui away but Paqui has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Paqui drops to a knee looking for a takedown but McGregII gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Paqui is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables McGregII to keep the fight standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chin Paqui. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Paqui goes for a takedown attempt but McGregII pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
McGregII tries to score a power double leg takedown but Paqui sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten McGregII somewhat.
Paqui wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.#T1#

McGregII is trying to force a seperation but Paqui has the dominant position.
Paqui tries to pull guard but McGregII won't allow it.

and McGregII counters with a left right combination that sends Paqui crashing to the mat - McGregII wastes no time in diving on top of him and pounding Paqui out for a TKO! Devastating finish!
